About
Responsibilities
Estimating:
- Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, material lists, and labor projections for commercial, retail, and multi-family projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate cost databases and historical pricing information.
- Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership to finalize bid packages and proposals.
Superintendent / Field Operations:
- Oversee daily on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, materials, and schedules to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify safety, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including reports, change orders, and progress updates.
- Lead and mentor field crews, promoting a positive, safety-focused jobsite culture.
- Uphold OSHA and company safety standards, including daily toolbox talks and job hazard analysis reviews.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and meet client expectations throughout all phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating and field supervision (commercial/retail/multi-family preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully managing on-site construction operations.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and cost control principles.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management tools such as Procore, RedTeam, and/or BlueBeam.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100, $125,000.00 per year
