Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive bartending experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to oversee bar operations, mentor staff, and ensure a memorable experience for our guests in settings ranging from fine dining to lively nightclubs and banquet events. Prior experience with Toast POS systems, along with a solid understanding of food safety and food handling protocols, is essential. A background in brewing, catering, or retail math will be advantageous. The Lead Bartender will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, managing cash handling, and supporting the overall success of our bar operations.
Duties
- Lead and supervise bartending staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to quality standards
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of bar areas
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage in compliance with food safety regulations
- Prepare and organize batches and syrups for cocktails and mixed drinks.
- Train new staff on serving techniques, POS usage, food safety procedures, and customer service excellence
- Monitor guest interactions to provide personalized service that enhances customer satisfaction
- Enforce responsible alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with all licensing laws
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to health standards
- Manage night shifts efficiently by applying strong time management skills, and working with the General Manager as their FOH second-in-command.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant service, food handling, or retail math applications
- Extensive bartending background which may include fine dining, nightclub environments, or banquet experience
- Proficiency with Toast POS systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, cash handling, and inventory management
- Experience in brewing or beverage preparation adds value to the role
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and foster a positive work environment

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
