Job Summary:
Our Sacramento, California facility is looking for a skilled Material Handler to manage the movement and storage of goods. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will play a crucial role in our logistics chain, contributing to the overall success of our distribution network.
Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks and containers.
Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
Maintain equipment and report any issues.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Support the logistics team with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
Valid forklift certification is required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 70 pounds.
Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
Excellent spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to wear required PPE, including hard hats and safety glasses.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
