HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
YOU will:
- Work independently with various computer applications involving creating, and verification of financial records and forms.
- Support general Accounting to include monitoring of daily processing of invoices, monitor and reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis, monthly review of A/P aging, and of re-occurring payables entry.
- Work closely with Financial Analysts to review budgeted allocations in respect to A/P data entry and General Ledger coding.
- Automate electronic payments for utilities, phone and other services used by program locations, and or rental communities when deemed appropriate.
- Work with outside vendors regularly to reconcile outstanding invoices that are paid and unpaid.
- Develop and maintain a system to ensure all utilities invoices are received, processed, and paid timely.

- You are all about the audits as you will be assisting with the preparation for the annual external audits.
- You are tech-savvy with great customer service and communication skills.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and especially during month end closing
- You are a multi-tasker with good time management skills while also being focused on the details.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of accounts payable experience
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines
