HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

YOU will:

  • Work independently with various computer applications involving creating, and verification of financial records and forms.
  • Support general Accounting to include monitoring of daily processing of invoices, monitor and reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis, monthly review of A/P aging, and of re-occurring payables entry.
  • Work closely with Financial Analysts to review budgeted allocations in respect to A/P data entry and General Ledger coding.
  • Automate electronic payments for utilities, phone and other services used by program locations, and or rental communities when deemed appropriate.
  • Work with outside vendors regularly to reconcile outstanding invoices that are paid and unpaid.
  • Develop and maintain a system to ensure all utilities invoices are received, processed, and paid timely.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You love creating and enforcing policies and procedure(s).
  • You are all about the audits as you will be assisting with the preparation for the annual external audits.
  • You are tech-savvy with great customer service and communication skills.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and especially during month end closing
  • You are a multi-tasker with good time management skills while also being focused on the details.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years of accounts payable experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines
