Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Junior Sous Chef where your enthusiasm and passion for food and service will shine We are seeking a Junior Sous Chef who is detail-oriented, structured, and eager to grow within a thoughtful, disciplined kitchen environment. As a Junior Sous Chef, you'll be an integral part of delivering memorable dining experiences, supporting senior team members, and gaining hands-on experience in various culinary and hospitality functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food production and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Support kitchen management with inventory control, stock rotation, and supply organization.
  • Control and Master all stations and recipes in the event of lack of personal on any given day.
  • Support banquet and event setups, including table arrangements, buffet stations, and catering logistics.
  • Collaborate with team members on shift management tasks such as order taking, serving, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in banquet settings or fine dining environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Exposure to supervising or team management roles is advantageous for growth within the company.
  • Ability to receive feedback and apply it thoughtfully
  • Comfortable working at a steady, efficient pace -- speed is less important then accuracy and consistency but should always stay the goal
  • Knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, and culinary techniques supports success in this role.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality will help you thrive as part of our team. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35, $40,000.00 per year
