We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco, California. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our **logistics** center, involving a variety of tasks related to receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Sort, stock, and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (certification provided).
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and **safe** working environment at all times.
- Strictly adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures, including mandatory **PPE** usage.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including **lifting**, pushing, and pulling items up to 60 lbs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational goals within the **logistics** framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to **lift**, push, and pull up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning devices and warehouse management systems.
- Strong understanding of **safety** procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to wear required **PPE**, such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and high-visibility clothing.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Knowledge of **logistics** operations is a plus.
