Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Los Angeles, California! Our logistics company is seeking a detail-oriented individual to accurately pick and pack customer orders. You will be responsible for retrieving items from inventory, ensuring order accuracy, and securely packaging them for shipment. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficiency in picking and packing processes.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any issues.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Team player with strong communication abilities.
