This role is critical to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items based on order details, utilizing RF scanners or pick lists. Accuracy and speed are key, as you directly impact customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using RF scanners or manual pick sheets.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects prior to staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other aids as needed.
- Follow all company Safety rules and procedures.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Tasks may require Lifting and carrying items, typically up to 35 lbs.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity to perform moderate Lifting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
