We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Columbus, Ohio. This position is crucial to the smooth functioning of our logistics and order fulfillment center. You will be responsible for accurately locating items within the warehouse, carefully packing them according to specifications, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they reach the customer in perfect condition.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Meet established picking and packing performance standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is beneficial.
