In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your keen eye for detail and dedication to accuracy will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing warehouse equipment and adhering to strict safety standards, including the correct use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from various warehouse locations.
- Verify order details and item information for accuracy.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Label packages clearly and correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and consistently wear required PPE.
- Meet performance metrics for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking/packing or a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for entire shift.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime when required.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.
