Our Des Moines, Iowa facility is seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of essential warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are handled with care and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Pick items from inventory based on customer orders and work orders.
- Pack products securely and label them for shipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- This role requires consistent Lifting of packages and items, up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting. A strong commitment to safety is paramount. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Familiarity with basic inventory management and logistics principles is beneficial but not required.
