Our Des Moines, Iowa facility is seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of essential warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Pick items from inventory based on customer orders and work orders.
- Pack products securely and label them for shipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- This role requires consistent Lifting of packages and items, up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting. A strong commitment to safety is paramount. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Familiarity with basic inventory management and logistics principles is beneficial but not required.
