Post 270 is looking for a General Manager
Also considering highly skilled FOH Managers.
Our company is in partnership with Toast. Candidates whom have knowledge of Toast system is highly preferred but not mandatory. 
Job Overview:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, staff performance, and profitability. The General Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the restaurant's standards and executing its vision.
 
Operational Management expectations:
  - Oversee all restaurant operations, including front of house and back of house activities.
  - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  - Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain processes.
Financial Oversight:
  - Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  - Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure profitability.
  - Implement cost-control measures to optimize resources.
 
Staff Management:
  - Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  - Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  - Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
 
Customer Engagement:
  - Ensure a memorable dining experience for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback.
  - Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  - Monitor customer satisfaction through surveys or direct feedback.
 
Strategic Planning:
  - Collaborate with ownership to develop and execute the restaurant's vision and goals.
  - Analyze market trends and customer preferences to adjust offerings accordingly.
  - Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity.
 
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and inventory control.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
 
Education:
- A degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
