Job Summary:
Are you a reliable and safety-conscious individual looking for a Material Handler position in Des Moines, Iowa? Join our team and become an integral part of our efficient logistics network. You will handle a variety of tasks, from loading and unloading to organizing inventory. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, identify, and store materials accurately.
  • Load and unload materials from vehicles, ensuring safe handling practices.
  • Transport materials to different areas of the warehouse using pallet jacks or other equipment.
  • Organize and stack inventory to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy access.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely, adhering to all operational guidelines.
  • Report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a material handling or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Capability to perform tasks involving significant lifting, up to 55 pounds regularly.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling techniques and equipment operation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
