Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, identify, and put away incoming inventory.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking and packing items correctly and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Prepare orders for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct usage of PPE and awareness of potential hazards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of clutter to ensure optimal safety and productivity.
- Address and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment or inventory discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and scanning technology.
- Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the appropriate use of PPE.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
