Job Summary:

As a Distribution Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouse. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Accurately stock and store merchandise in designated locations.
  • Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Utilize appropriate PPE for all assigned tasks.
  • Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
  • Excellent understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including some weekends if required.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • This role requires sustained physical exertion including lifting and standing.
