Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock and store merchandise in designated locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Utilize appropriate PPE for all assigned tasks.
- Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Excellent understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some weekends if required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- This role requires sustained physical exertion including lifting and standing.
