As a key member of our culinary team, the Sous Chef plays a pivotal role in leading the preparation of high-quality dishes for our menu items.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
A passion for contemporary Korean cuisine is essential, as is a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menus, while also maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Lead a team of cooks in preparing high-quality dishes for our menu items
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menus
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health codes and regulations
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- 1-2 years of experience in a Michelin-rated or NYT-starred restaurant
- Familiarity with contemporary Korean cuisine
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
