Job Summary:

As a key member of our culinary team, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, create memorable menus and inspire a team of dedicated cooks and dishwashers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other hospitality directors to review event calendars and schedule staff accordingly.
  • Design and implement innovative menus, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Sources high-quality ingredients for menus and places orders with vendors, securing the best rates.
  • Maintains optimal inventory levels and ensures all equipment is fully functional.
  • Ensures food quality remains consistently high and hygiene standards are met and exceeded.
  • Trains and motivates kitchen staff, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Organizes budgets and finances for the kitchen, ensuring effective resource management.
  • Assists with food preparation, recipe creation, testing and tasting to ensure exceptional quality.
  • Coordinates food operations for various campus functions and departments, including Camp and BCI.
  • Participates in related projects as assigned and performs other duties as required.
  • Maintains strict safety and sanitation standards, ensuring others adhere to them as well.
  • Communicates effectively with departments and team members on a weekly basis.
