We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sous chef to join our culinary leadership team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will play a critical role in supporting the executive chef in daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:- Assist the executive chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service execution and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Oversee prep, production, and service execution, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout the kitchen.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of cooks and stewards, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with state health and sanitation regulations, upholding the highest standards of food safety.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all menu items, adhering to established culinary standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the executive chef on seasonal menu development and recipe testing, driving innovation and excellence in cuisine.
- Manage inventory, receiving, and product rotation, optimizing kitchen resources and minimizing waste.
- Promote food and labor cost targets, ensuring responsible management of kitchen finances.
- Support all stations during service, working collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
