Event Sales Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for selling banquet business across two conference rooms and semi-private dining.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound leads and targeted outreach/lead generation.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Closing deals daily to maximize occupancy of both banquet rooms.

Client-Facing Responsibilities:

  • Plan client's menus.
  • Manage client relations leading up to the event.
  • Create clear and concise BEOs for execution teams.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Interface with Hotel Management including Director of Sales and Hotel General Manager.
  • Represent our approach with clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in banquet sales for independent restaurant group or hotels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
  • Experience with Tripleseat and Google Suite.
  • Interest in local food sourcing.
  • Strong food & beverage knowledge.
  • Familiarity with French cuisine is a plus.
