This role oversees the execution and strategy of pastry operations across four locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity in all pastry offerings.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on leadership with business acumen to manage staff training, inventory control, recipe development, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:- Lead by example, maintaining positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
- Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
- Develop and implement pastry and bakery menu items, including daily and seasonal specials.
- Work collaboratively with management to create innovative pastry and bakery offerings.
- Properly document all recipes and techniques to maintain consistency and quality.
- Maintain the highest level of food quality, meeting the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
- Monitor purchasing to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet our guidelines.
- Verify all pastry department products are delivered in the correct quantities and quality.
- Implement policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs to drive excellence.
- Supervise and train employees to maintain company expectations of food and service quality.
- Achieve sales, cost, and profit objectives through effective labor scheduling and adjusting based on sales trends.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities, focusing on the pastry department.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen management experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Formal culinary training with an emphasis on pastry.
- Food Service Manager Certificate required.
