Who We Are:

Gleniffer Lake Resort & Country Club is a premier resort destination, offering a well-maintained and relaxing environment for lot owners and guests. Our administrative team ensures smooth operations and exceptional service.

The Position:
We are currently seeking a full-time Payroll Clerk / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves processing payroll, supporting human resources functions, training staff on resort-related applications, and assisting with bookkeeping and front desk duties.

What You'll Be Doing:

Payroll Processing

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance.
  • Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

HR Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Maintain and update employee records.

Employee Training

  • Train employees on resort applications and software.
  • Develop training materials and assist with training sessions.

Bookkeeping

  • Perform part-time bookkeeping tasks.
  • Assist with budget tracking and financial records.

Reception Coverage

  • Provide reception coverage, answer calls, greet guests, and handle inquiries.
  • Support front desk operations during peak periods or staff absences.

General Duties:

  • Adhere to resort policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and financial information.
  • Exhibit flexibility to take on additional duties as needed.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Experience in payroll processing, HR, and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-Time hours with flexibility for peak periods and reception coverage.
  • Occasional extended hours during payroll processing periods.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Pay: $25.00-$28.85 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
