The Position:
We are currently seeking a full-time Payroll Clerk / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves processing payroll, supporting human resources functions, training staff on resort-related applications, and assisting with bookkeeping and front desk duties.
What You'll Be Doing:
Payroll Processing
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance.
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
HR Onboarding & Offboarding
- Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Maintain and update employee records.
Employee Training
- Train employees on resort applications and software.
- Develop training materials and assist with training sessions.
Bookkeeping
- Perform part-time bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with budget tracking and financial records.
Reception Coverage
- Provide reception coverage, answer calls, greet guests, and handle inquiries.
- Support front desk operations during peak periods or staff absences.
General Duties:
- Adhere to resort policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and financial information.
- Exhibit flexibility to take on additional duties as needed.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Experience in payroll processing, HR, and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Full-Time hours with flexibility for peak periods and reception coverage.
- Occasional extended hours during payroll processing periods.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
