Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
2. Build and manage a talented team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
3. Oversee all aspects of the data life cycle, including data acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation, ensuring data integrity, quality, and governance.
4. Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and uncover actionable insights.
5. Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive value creation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
6. Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to develop scalable data infrastructure and ensure seamless integration of data solutions into existing systems and processes.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics, and recommend innovative approaches to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
8. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
9. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align data initiatives with business goals and drive measurable impact on key performance metrics.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MS or PhD) preferred.
2. Proven track record of leadership in data science, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in automotive.
3. Extensive experience in developing and implementing data strategies, analytics solutions, and machine learning models in a business environment.
4. Automotive background preferred.
5. Strong technical proficiency in data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, etc.), as well as experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
6. Deep understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques, with a focus on practical application and business impact.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
8. Must speak fluent German to communicate with the business stakeholders.
