Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: Long Term Contract
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully analyzing business processes and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify business needs, objectives, and opportunities.
Develop detailed business requirements documents, user stories, and use cases.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements and gather feedback.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Perform data analysis and present findings to support decision-making processes.
Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, UML
Knowledge of database concepts and SQL querying is a plus.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is preferred but not required.
