Certified Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with a kind and upbeat personality, and loves working with children. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients and their parents receive high-quality medical support and assistance during their visits.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for X-rays, giving immunizations.
• Manage patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Support outpatient services by scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing patient inquiries.

Experience

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
• Familiarity with office medicine practices, including knowledge of physiology and patient care protocols.
• Proficiency in handling X-ray procedures is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.
