JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Job Summary: As a leader in the IT department, and an employee responsible for organisation-wide systems and information, an IT Manager job description should include the following duties and responsibilities:

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
  • Managing and reporting on the allocation of the IT budget:
  • Providing direction for IT team members
  • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
  • Running regular checks on network and data security
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
  • Designing training programs and workshops for staff
  • Conducting regular system audits
  • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At-least 4years experiences as a System administrator (Linux) position
• Have experience in network administration, LAN/WAN networking, load balancing, firewall device
• Have experience in Office365 Global admin
• Good understanding of virtualization platforms (Xen, KVM, Vmware,..)
• Have knowlegde of web services like nginx, apache, proxy,…
• Ability to write bash, powershell scripts
• Have experience in Docker
• Good command of English is essential
• Ability to write technical support, report documentation
• ISO9000 Experience

Nice to have

• Certifications of CCNA, MCSA

Preferred:

• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
• Understanding of customer satisfaction principles and practices
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proactive and able to solve problem efficiently
