As part of their activities, and various upcoming projects, they are looking for a Software Application Engineer to complete their team. This is a permanent position based in Biel/Bienne area, in Switzerland

Who you are
- English AND German required
- You are an HES Engineer or Software or Automation technician with a solid knowledge of automation systems
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in Programming with C++
- Knowledge of machine tool control systems
Your tasks
- As part of a team, you will be involved in programming the machines and their interfaces, participating in the development of the software that runs the machines (C++ and Beckhoff TwinCAT are used)
- You'll be involved in defining requirements, design and testing
- Manage entire projects, maintaining regular contact with customers
- Acceptance, installation and parameterization of machines
- Checking machine conformity
