The recruiting company is a renowned Swiss school looking for a competent and passionate Linux System Administrator to join their team based in Lausanne. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of their Linux infrastructure.

Vacancy
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems -or - equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong understanding of bash/shell, Perl and Python.
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux TCP/IP networking.
- In depth experience with configuration management and system provisioning methods and tools (Ansible, Puppet, Foreman, Kickstart, X-Cat etc).
- Good experience in virtualization and container technologies (KVM, docker, Singularity).
- Experience managing OpenStack infrastructures.
- Experience in managing software defined object storage (CEPH, Scality or Cloudian).
- 5 years experience in management of large-scale Linux based systems in a cloud environment.
Your tasks
- Install, manage, maintain and monitor the present Openstack infrastructure of the Lausanne SENSA BiomedIT node.
- Help the users to use efficiently the resources allocated to the project.
- Present and explain the SENSA resources to different groups of users with different base skills.
