What You'll Do:
Our client is looking for an experienced Oracle Development Engineer. This position will play a key role in the development team that supports and enhances enterprise applications.
Primary responsibilities include: Demonstrated expertise in Oracle development, including advanced PL/SQL programming, procedure design, and complex debugging across enterprise-scale database environments. Proven ability to manage and monitor batch job workflows that execute SQL processes, ensuring timely completion, error handling, and performance optimization across complex data environments. Serve as a data domain expert for an existing enterprise application Foster strong, professional relationships with customers and collaborate to deliver high-quality, tailored services that consistently exceed expectations. Provide technical leadership and end-to-end ownership of products, guiding key initiatives from design through delivery as needed. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a strong track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Oracle databases. This role will demonstrate clear and effective communication skills-both verbal and written. Candidate's that have experience developing, enhancing, and debugging SAS scripts / jobs is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development Proven expertise in writing, testing, and optimizing Oracle scripts, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines through effective task planning and execution Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills Genuine passion for working with databases, backend processes, and data-driven solutions Demonstrated ownership and accountability, consistently going beyond expectations to deliver high-quality results Experience using SAS as an ETL tool and developing SAS jobs is preferred Why Golden Technology?
