Basis: Permanent - Full-time
Area of Interest: Data & Analytics
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Overview Geotab is a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, providing web‑based analytics to help businesses manage fleets efficiently.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain new machine learning platforms and manage generative AI applications and agents.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting services to ensure the health of the AI platform infrastructure.
Develop processes to enrich big data with telematics data at scale.
Work closely with data scientists to understand data processing needs and deliver infrastructure solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for architecture, requirements, and process flows.
Support internal teams in data integration with newly developed AI platforms.
Qualifications
Post‑secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience as a software developer or in a similar role.
3–5 years of experience developing production‑level systems using Python 3.
3–5 years of experience maintaining production services in a mainstream cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
1–5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining containerized production applications (Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).
Knowledge of fine‑tuning and self‑hosting large language models and generative AI frameworks such as Langgraph, CrewAI, or LiteLLM is a plus.
Experience with OpenSpec, Ralph, Agent Sandbox, and Sourcegraph highly preferred.
Knowledge of AI/ML platforms (e.g., Ray, VertexAI, Bedrock) and familiarity with Big Data environments such as Google BigQuery.
