The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Allendale region seeking Facilities Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage facility-related projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
- Supervise and train facilities staff, fostering a high-performance work environment.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, and capital projects.
- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., FMP, CFM) is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CMMS implementation and optimization.
- LEED certification or experience with sustainable building practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for space planning.
- OSHA 30-hour certification for general industry.
