Position Position Summary
The Sales Manager Aerospace will possess experience in a manufacturing industry with increasing responsibilities in Technical Sales, Engineering, and/or Operations. He/she will represent the organization in the regional market promoting the capabilities and capacities the organization has available. He/she will leverage the total capabilities of the organization to guide Lincotek’s technology/service leadership with its current customer base while establishing new customer accounts.
The responsibilities of the Business Development and Sales Manager North America include, but are not limited to, the following:
Accountable for LSS order book in North America for Aerospace.
In charge of customer relations in the commercial phase
Collects pricing information and drives consistent strategy in North America
Responsible for developing new business with existing and new customers, in coordination with the technical teams.
Develop relationship throughout the customers hierarchy to generate engagements at multiple levels.
Deploy the business strategy defined from the divisional level of Lincotek and sync commercial strategy with the European sales team for common customers.
Establish annual sales budget and minimum margin expectations/price increases each year.
Ensures pricing strategy is in accordance with Lincotek divisional requirements and that the contract review process is followed.
Provide quarterly and annual forecasts to support the operations team.
Monitor NPI to ensure projects are delivered timely escalating when necessary.
Monitor customer forecast to ensure expected business trends are met and capacity is made available by the operations team.
Interacts with the customer to promote the different capabilities and technologies available across the sites
Establish new business accounts directly with OEM and with TIER 1 companies, identifying new products and services that could be implemented or added to strengthen Lincotek’s position vs. competitors.
Create a rolling 3-5 year business review of market and related forecast for Lincotek to plan investments.
Provides market intelligence on customers & competitors to support strategy definition.
Manage and develop sales KPI i.e. product mix, lead times, by customer etc.
Suggests attendance to conferences and fairs to best promote Lincotek brand.
Plans and leads customer visits/calls.
Adhere to the Company's Quality and Safety Management System and in accordance with its procedures and requirements.
Promote positive employee environment and community involvement.
Performs other duties as assigned.

This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.
Travel
Travel required domestically and occasionally international
Requirements Education/Skills
4-year college degree or 8+ years of Technical Sales experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing field. Aerospace is strongly preferred.
Strong technical background with the ability to read and understand technical requirements.
Ability to recognize and handle sensitive and confidential information.
Good administrative, project management and analytical skills.
Must have excellent communication / presentation skills and experience interacting with all levels of customers, including technical managers.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of both metric and US measurement systems.
Affinity for accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
