The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, providing trusted business advice, and supporting the continued growth of the firm.
The Opportunity You will manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients, acting as a trusted advisor across accounting, tax, and business matters.
This role offers significant client exposure, autonomy, and the opportunity to develop your career within a progressive and supportive practice environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Irish accounting standards.
Lead client meetings, present financial information, and provide practical business advice.
Oversee tax compliance across VAT, PAYE, RCT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax.
Liaise with Revenue and manage client queries, filings, and compliance requirements.
Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a collaborative culture.
Assist with client growth initiatives and business development activities.
About You ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified.
Minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting and tax compliance.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate confidently with business owners.
Experience managing a client portfolio and delivering high-quality client service.
Proficient in accounting software such as Surf Accounts, Sage, Xero, or similar.
Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-focused.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
