Seeking a strategic, commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth across key domestic markets and customer channels. This leader will drive sales performance, strengthen customer partnerships, identify new market opportunities, and lead initiatives that expand market share and profitability.
The ideal candidate combines strong CPG or food industry sales expertise with a consultative, relationship-first approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. This role is highly visible and offers the opportunity to influence both regional growth strategy and long-term commercial initiatives. This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion
Identify emerging business opportunities across retail, food service, and distribution channels
Analyze market dynamics, customer trends, and competitive activity to inform strategic decision-making
Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
Customer Growth & Partnership Management
Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners
Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering solutions that support customer growth and operational success
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
Drive customer retention, account expansion, and strategic business reviews
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales talent across assigned territories
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Support talent development initiatives and succession planning within the commercial organization
Champion field engagement, training, and leadership development opportunities
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify whitespace opportunities, emerging channels, and strategic growth initiatives
Support new customer acquisition and expansion of strategic accounts
Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, distribution models, and evolving consumer demand
Contribute to broader commercial planning and category growth strategiesManage sales plans, budgets, and profitability objectives to maximize ROI
Monitor KPIs and business performance metrics to drive operational excellence
Partner with internal stakeholders to align inventory, sourcing, and customer demand planning
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
Experience
5+ years of progressive sales experience within Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), food distribution, protein, retail grocery, or related industries
Prior sales leadership or regional account management experience strongly preferred
Experience managing strategic customer relationships and delivering measurable revenue growth
Procurement, sourcing, or category management exposure is a plus
