Ferguson is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative‑Facilities Supply with experience in MultiFamily, Hospitality, Senior Living or Education Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) and Renovations experience to manage and grow an existing customer portfolio while actively developing new business in the Cleveland, OH Market. The ideal candidate is consultative and data‑driven, with a solid understanding of MRO solutions and a proven ability to grow share of wallet by building trusted relationships with Property Managers, Regional Managers and Maintenance teams. This role spends the majority of time in the field, engaging customers face‑to‑face. Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with an assigned base of customers and key vendor partners. Increase share of wallet by identifying customer needs and delivering tailored MRO solutions to active, new and inactive accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnering with management to develop and execute territory and account strategies. Create and execute territory and account plans aligned with sales objectives, leveraging data, CRM insights and competitive analysis. Maintain a healthy, accurate sales pipeline that balances customer satisfaction with profitable growth. Monitor competitive activity and communicate market insights and recommendations to leadership. Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills to maintain a professional, credible presence in the field. Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of outside sales experience within the Multifamily and/or Hospitality, Education verticals, ideally in the MRO, distribution or vendor space. Proven success working with Property Managers, Regional Managers, Facility/Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians. Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics and CRM tools to drive sales growth and manage pipeline performance. Strong consultative selling skills with a track record of growing existing accounts and winning new business. Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role. Strong problem‑solving, active listening, time‑management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong overall digital literacy. What Success Looks Like
Consistent growth in territory revenue and share of wallet. Strong customer retention with expanded relationships across multiple contacts. A well‑managed, data‑driven pipeline with predictable results. Trusted advisor relationships with customers and effective collaboration with internal teams. Compensation & Benefits
Base plus commission eligible role with no cap on commission. Estimated total compensation range: $75,000 – $125,000+.
