Position Information Position Title Position Title Part Time Drafting Electrical Design & Drafting CADD Instructor Position Category Position Category Faculty Position Status FLSA FLSA Exempt Advertised Salary Department Department Business & STEM Working Hours Working Hours Monday and Wednesday 2pm - 5:45pm General Description SUNY Niagara has a need for a part time Drafting Electrical Design & Drafting CADD Instructors to teach courses in the Drafting department within the Business and STEM division. This position will be responsible for teaching and advising students throughout the academic year who are enrolled in the program. PT instructors will also be responsible for attending meetings as requested.
Classes are held in person on SUNY Niagara’s main campus in Sanborn, NY. Applicants must be able to attend in-person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus.
Remuneration for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $960 per lecture hour/$860 per lab hour.
In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis. Track attendance as needed Report on student learning outcomes at the end of the semester Report grades at the conclusion of the semester Attend and participate in meetings as necessary Essential Functions Ability to navigate relationships with diverse populations. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Ability to actively involve and engage students in their own learning. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, co-workers, supervisors and the campus and external community. Must be able to develop, prepare, and present information. Must able to operate computers. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position.
