Working Hours : Monday and Wednesday 2 pm – 5:45 pm
General Description SUNY Niagara seeks a part‑time Drafting Electrical Design & Drafting CADD Instructor to teach courses in the Drafting department within the Business and STEM division. The instructor will teach and advise students throughout the academic year and attend meetings as requested. Classes are held in person on the SUNY Niagara main campus in Sanborn, NY; the instructor must be able to attend in‑person meetings, professional development, and other campus obligations.
Typical Work Activities
Teach course on campus.
Track attendance as needed.
Report on student learning outcomes at the end of the semester.
Report grades at the conclusion of the semester.
Attend and participate in meetings as necessary.
Essential Functions
Navigate relationships with diverse populations.
Speak in front of groups of people.
Actively involve and engage students in their own learning.
Effectively communicate with students, co‑workers, supervisors, and the campus and external community.
Develop, prepare, and present information.
Operate computers.
Physically perform the duties of the position.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Drafting.
Two years of experience in Drafting.
Desirable Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Technology.
Two years of experience particularly in AutoCAD and Electrical design.
