The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee industrial mechanical piping and/or plumbing construction projects to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budget and schedule
- Review project plans and specifications, build project schedules, make recommendations of potential cost-saving measures and identify potential construction problems
- Complete job cost breakdowns, schedule of values, and review / approve project billings
- Work with general contractors, vendors and subcontractors to coordinate project schedules, RFIs and change orders
- Order mechanical and/or plumbing materials as required and ensure delivery in accordance with project schedules
- Ensure construction site has all resources needed to execute plan
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Coordinate with field superintendents on manpower needs, adjusting as needed
- Conduct and attend Pre-Construction and post construction meetings
- Manage multiple projects varying in scope simultaneously
- Continuous communication with office personnel, General Contractor, owner and others as needed
- Complete all required documentation electronically
- Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications:
- 8 plus years total experience in project management
- Experience in industrial construction projects including Data Centers, Steel Mills, Pharmaceutical Facilities and others
- Management of projects ranging in size and scope from $25/$30 million plus
- Experienced with project cost to complete, project financials and project close outs
- OSHA 30 Hour preferred
- Mechanical experience preferred

- Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.

- Technological proficiency to include Microsoft Office products
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50lbs
- Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other layout materials
- Ability to pass full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training
