Role Description This full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Representative role is based in York, NE. The Insurance Sales Representative will build and maintain client relationships, assess client needs, and recommend appropriate insurance products such as auto, home, life, farm/ranch, and business policies. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new clients, conducting consultations, preparing personalized quotes, and following up on leads and referrals. The role involves providing responsive customer service, handling policy changes and renewals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely policy processing. The Insurance Sales Representative will also participate in community and networking events, maintain detailed records in the CRM system, and stay current on product offerings, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Insurance Sales, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets and build long-term client relationships.
Experience in Customer Service, demonstrating professionalism, active listening, and problem-solving in client interactions.
Knowledge of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices, or the ability and willingness to learn quickly.
Ability to obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses; existing insurance licensing is preferred.
Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Comfort with using CRM tools and basic office software to track leads, opportunities, and client information.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with a local team.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or consultative sales is strongly preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.
