Step into the action on the production floor.
As a Precision Quality Assurance Inspector, you’ll be the go‑to guardian of product conformity, moving from receiving to in‑process builds to finished goods. Your day blends hands‑on inspection, detailed documentation, and tight collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams to keep parts aligned with specifications and our Quality Management System.
What you’ll do
Verify incoming materials, in‑process assemblies, and completed products against engineering requirements and quality standards.
Record findings with precision and maintain complete, traceable quality records.
Process and manage quality documentation, including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material reports.
Partner with production, engineering, and quality to investigate issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct routine audits of manufacturing processes to confirm adherence to quality control procedures and work instructions.
Use standard mechanical and electrical inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, weight scales, functional gauges, test rigs, and other measurement instruments.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and applicable standards, including AS9100 and AS9120.
Review and interpret Material Test Reports, Inspection Data Results, and Certificates of Conformance/Performance.
Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor—this role is hands‑on and not confined to a desk.
What you’ll bring
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality or a related field preferred.
At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements.
Working knowledge of inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and weight scales.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Teams for documentation and communication.
Familiarity with GD&T strongly preferred (not required).
Exceptional attention to detail, sound problem‑solving, and a team‑first mindset with the ability to work independently.
