The Kelly Group is seeking a QC Powder Coating Inspector for its Lafayette, Indiana , location. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills. One to three years of experience in powder coating is preferred.
Responsibilities
Checking finished product to ensure that it meets customer-required paint inspection standards
Maintaining all quality logbooks daily and running daily tests to ensure quality standards are being met
Helping with maintaining the titration levels of washer pretreatment
Ensuring all ISO standards are followed at all times
Assisting with identifying and addressing quality concerns when they arise
Performing general inspections to identify any visible issues prior to release
Preferred Qualifications
ISO 9001 internal auditor or familiarity with ISO standards
Experience with inspection tools or measurement systems
NACE or SSPC Coating Inspection Certification
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector
