Field Applications Engineer - Dallas We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) who has the right mix of technical prowess and business savvy and can confidently identify, select, source, win and support new business opportunities. This person should be a self‑starter who can prioritize activities to maximize design wins and sales revenue around the electronic component products and services they support.
What You’ll Be Doing
Spending the majority of your time in front of customers to influence component selection.
Utilize an advanced understanding of customer needs and technical leadership to champion return on engineering investment.
Manage supplier and customer expectations by building relationships, keeping stakeholders updated on activities and progress.
Grow your account base each quarter.
Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs; understand customer needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering and design services.
Identify solutions and resolutions to customer design needs and issues.
Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action as necessary to meet or exceed them.
Present technical seminars and workshops around supplier lines.
Provide frequent updates to field sales team and motivate around supplier lines.
Partner with sales team across pre‑and post‑sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
Attend strategic branch meetings, QBRs and develop strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions.
Organize engineering customer events.
Meet with suppliers to review recent customer design activity and identify compelling solutions.
Attend supplier trainings in person and via conference calls.
What We’re Looking For
In‑depth knowledge and experience with system/board/engineering solutions and electronic components.
Solid communication skills.
Breadth of knowledge of electronic components.
Experience with design engineering.
Solves complex problems; takes new perspectives using existing solutions.
Independent worker with willingness to learn.
Experience with RF design, high‑power (silicon carbide) design, analog experience, robotics and AI is a plus.
Experience / Education Typically requires a 4‑year degree (engineering preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience.
Work Arrangement Hybrid: 1 day in branch location (Dallas); 4 days remote/on the road.

Export Compliance This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (including U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees).
Annual Hiring Range / Hourly Rate $76,600.00 – $150,700.00
Location US‑TX‑Texas (Remote Employees) – Central Time Zone. Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work‑related purposes, at the Company’s request and sole discretion.
