About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Analyst to join our team at Nellis AFB, NV , supporting the 363rd ISR Wing (363 ISRW) . The Cyber Analyst will play a critical role in cryptologic support to the 363 ISRW’s analysis and exercise support mission areas through cybersecurity operations and system administration to protect mission‑critical systems and networks. This position requires expertise in cyber threat analysis, cryptologic operations, network administration, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cryptologic support and cybersecurity operations to safeguard sensitive information and mission‑critical systems.
Provide system administration support for SCI‑level networks (AF IC ITE) including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise and local network devices.
Support the development and implementation of cyber defense measures to protect against emerging threats.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
Ensure compliance with all security protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Education/Experience: 16 years w/o a degree, 14 years with AS/AA, 12 years with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, or 8 years with PhD.
DOD 8140 compliance based on DCWF code 462 Intermediate level.
Technical Expertise: system administration, cryptologic support, and cybersecurity operations.
Familiarity with cyber defense tools, network security, and incident response methodologies.
Strong understanding of cyber threat analysis and mitigation strategies.
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and collaborating with teams.
Ability to work effectively in a high‑pressure, mission‑critical environment.
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting the 363 ISRW or similar ISR organizations.
Knowledge of cryptologic systems, tools, and methodologies.
Familiarity with Air Force cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent.
Completion of a commercial, military, or U.S. Government cybersecurity training course or specialized certification.
Minimum 10 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least part of the experience within the last 2 years.
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or bachelor's degree plus 5 additional years of senior experience to substitute for a Master’s degree (total 15 years).

Details Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
