Our client, a leading organization in the technology and telecommunications industry, is seeking a Network Administrator to join their team. As a Network Administrator, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the network infrastructure and hardware procurement processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing complex projects, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Irving, Texas
What's the Job?
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement of networking hardware such as routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
Oversee inventory control, perform hardware order tracking, and forecast future hardware needs based on historical data.
Collaborate with engineering teams, procurement, finance, and third‑party suppliers to ensure timely and funded hardware orders.
Act as the primary point of contact for hardware requests from engineers and technical teams.
Provide weekly metrics, reporting, and work to improve hardware delivery times with suppliers.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 6+ years of project management experience, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Extensive vendor management and supplier relations experience, including analyzing data sets and communicating trends effectively.
At least 6+ years of experience in ordering hardware, working with major suppliers, and coordinating with procurement and finance teams.
Strong inventory management skills, including tracking, forecasting, and performing hardware drawdowns.
Experience with network hardware ordering and familiarity with industry trends is highly desirable.
