In this role, you will provide essential support with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety for patients in a warm and respectful environment. Key Responsibilities:
Answer telephone calls professionally and with a friendly demeanor. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, positioning, and bathroom needs. Accurately document patient information including intake and output, vital signs, and weights. Provide clear and thorough patient education and communicate effectively with peers, nursing staff, physicians, and administration. Adapt positively to changes and follow through on any issues that may affect patient care using the appropriate channels. Collaborate well with team members and support group decisions. Ensure patient information is promptly and accurately relayed to charge nurses or registered nurses. Maintain a safe and tidy environment for both patients and staff. Organize and ensure availability of supplies and equipment needed for patient care. Properly use personal protective equipment and seek guidance from registered nurses when necessary. Demonstrate skilled communication that aligns words with actions and encourage accountability among colleagues.
Education: Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program is required. Experience: Previous experience in a patient care setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt is essential. Requirements: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively, and a caring attitude toward patients.
