Provides administrative support to assigned Sales Consultant(s). Serves as the first line of communication between the client, prospect, broker or consultant for questions and inquiries. Responsibilities: Supports Sales Consultant for prospecting and all areas related to business acquisition (Benefits Quote Requests, account worksheets, certificate, and Summary Plan Description (SPD) review, WebBen system creation and review system maintenance, group reporting, etc.). Organizes and coordinates details related to successful group implementation with internal departments and business distribution channels. Mines and logs information related to Sales in Goldmine and other resources as directed. Maintains knowledge of healthcare environment and impact MMO product and processes and maintains an active Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) licensing status. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Sales Support Coordinator Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree. 2 years support experience in a financial services, health insurance, customer service or related environment. Technical Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of health insurance products and sales and service operations (underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design, funding).
