Manufacturing Data Analytics Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Data Analytics Engineer to lead data-driven improvements across our production operations. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert in developing analytics solutions, transforming manufacturing data into actionable insights, and enabling data-informed decisions across operations and engineering teams. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to define analytical needs, architect data pipelines and dashboards, and deliver models that improve throughput, cycle time, resource utilization, and overall factory performance. What You Will Do: Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics solutions for manufacturing operations. Analyze large, complex production datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Develop predictive and diagnostic models focused on manufacturing flow, equipment performance, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and operations to translate business challenges into analytical requirements and solutions. Build dashboards, automation, and self-service tools to support real-time decision-making. Create and maintain data pipelines, data validation checks, and documentation. Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and promote analytics best practices. Support strategic initiatives such as digital transformation, factory automation, and process optimization. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related STEM field. At least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, or comparable technologies. Experience using data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory performance metrics. Experience developing predictive or statistical models. Experience leading analytics projects from concept through deployment. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with cloud data environments such as Azure or AWS, or with data engineering frameworks. Experience in electronics, aerospace, or complex manufacturing environments. Familiarity with Lean methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), or process optimization methods. Experience with MES, ERP, or factory automation systems. Ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Not eligible for relocation The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
